03 — About

A Georgia girl, seen by millions

Briana Blair grew up in Dallas, Georgia, in the kind of household where Saturdays smelled like peach cobbler and the radio was always on. She started dance classes at five years old — jazz, ballet, modern and hip-hop — and kept dancing straight through school and college.

Her twenties began the way a lot of Georgia stories do: marketing studies at Kennesaw State University, teaching dance on the side, bartending in Atlanta. What she really wanted was a stage — and she was about to get one.

04 — Career

From the hardwood to the screen

Blair danced professionally for an NHL team before spending several seasons with the Atlanta Hawks' A-Town Dancers — four years of performing in front of crowds of up to 18,000 people. When that contract ended, she moved to Los Angeles in August 2009 to keep modelling.

A photo shoot for a men’s magazine introduced her to an agent, and by October 2009 she was filming her first scenes under the name Brandy Blair. Her 2010 Hustler cover put her on newsstands nationwide, and the parody era handed her some of the funniest scripts in the business.
